Epsilon has established a point of presence (PoP) in datamena’s facility in Dubai, expanding the reach of its Cloud Link eXchange (CloudLX) platform and intelligent Network as a Service (iNaaS) offering.

Epsilon will use its PoP in datamena to gain greater access to regional markets while supporting the growth of cloud services in the Middle East. Datamena offers interconnection with an ecosystem of carriers, cloud and content providers, and enterprises as well as access low-latency connectivity to high growth markets across the region.

Epsilon can interconnect with more than 70 active potential partners in the facility. It also has access to the UAE Internet Exchange (UAE-IX), the largest public peering exchange in the Middle East, with more than 30 active members. This helps to bring content closer to end users and enables superior quality of service and experience for high performance applications and cloud services.

The cloud is really taking off in the Middle East and local enterprises and service providers are looking for simple and flexible solutions for global connectivity. By working with datamena, we are expanding our presence locally in the Middle East and enabling these customers to gain rapid access to on demand Ethernet services. Datamena is a great addition to our more than 70 PoPs worldwide and offers us another solid base to serve our local, regional and global customers.

The PoP in datamena builds on Epsilon’s nearly 10 years of activity in the Middle East and the opening of an office in the UAE in January 2014. Epsilon has built a loyal customer base in the Middle East and has made a dedicated effort to develop its local infrastructure to serve their needs. Its local customers are looking to connect globally and support the growth of cloud services with flexible, scalable, and simple network IaaS solutions.

Our intelligent networking solutions and iNaaS model really matches what local customers want in the Middle East. They want to be able to connect around the world with a single, flexible relationship that is supported with guaranteed QoS and QoE for real time communication and application. The market is growing and they need the ability to scale up their connectivity to match the needs of local cloud services, new content players and overall growth in communications services. Our presence in datamena gives us an additional touch point where customers can connect to our network and gain end-to-end support for their growing businesses. We are bringing our services closer to our Middle Eastern customers.
