Overall Job Purpose

The Sales Operations Manager will increase the productivity of our commercial teams by improving sales processes, systems and by providing reporting and quantitative analysis on pipeline and sales activities of the two sales teams.  They will provide training and coaching on sales processes and systems to Sales teams.  They will be the Salesforce “expert” for the company.

Accountabilities

  • Creating and managing mechanisms to report on the sales teams’ performance and providing recommendations to management on how to improve visibility of performance and areas of improvement
  • Tracking and reporting performance against targets, evaluate pipeline and supporting forecasts and leading the weekly sales calls
  • Salesforce reporting and dashboards. Being the salesforce “expert” to assist driving process and productivity
  • Ensuring global standardisation of sales processes and reporting
  • Training the sales teams on processes and systems
  • Working with key stakeholders to assist in the evaluation and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to further automate/streamline commercial processes, through contributing to decisions on the evolution of our Salesforce and internal systems

Skills and Knowledge

  • “Super user” knowledge of Salesforce
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to enable cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent analytical abilities to perform data driven analysis
  • Methodical with excellent attention to detail
  • Excel use to a very high-level
  • Track record of defining, owning and embedding consistent CRM processes across a distributed / global sales organisation
  • Strong CRM domain knowledge including, master data management, contact management, configure, sales-cycle administration, analytics and reporting, digital signatures, contract lifecycle management etc.
  • Motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Clear communicator, high level of coaching/mentoring capabilities
  • “Can do” attitude

Additional Requirements

  • Has sales operations management experience gained from working within a Telecommunications or Technology global company
