Revolutionising Connectivity and Security

Cato Networks offers the world’s first Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform, converging SD WAN and network security into a global, cloud-native solution that can be managed through a single self-service console.

Together with the extensive global reach of Epsilon’s network, businesses can leverage the end-to-end networking and security capabilities to seamlessly connect physical locations, cloud, and mobile users. This simplifies operations, optimises connectivity, and improves end-user experiences.

converged networking and security

Converged Networking and Security

Experience the advantages of a cloud-native networking and security solution that seamlessly integrates SD WAN, SWG, CASB, SDP/ZTNA, DNS, DLP and FWaaS into a unified architecture.

single management

Single Management

Streamline operations, reduce complexity, and enhance efficiency with a single pane of glass for network management, security policy deployment, and monitoring.

capability and reliability

Optimised Cloud Access

Improve application performance through self-healing and self-maintenance network capabilities, coupled with a private global backbone that delivers secure and reliable access to business-critical resources from anywhere in the world.

secure remote access

Secure Remote Access

Enable Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) to protect mobile users from threats everywhere while enforcing precise application access controls. This eliminates VPN or firewall vulnerabilities, prevents lateral movement, and shrinks the attack surface.

unified networking and security

KEY FEATURES

Unified Networking and Security

Achieve complete visibility and control with Cato’s SASE platform, which consolidates networking and security capabilities. This includes Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access, (ZTNA), Software-defined Perimeter (SDP), Data Loss Protection (DLP), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) with Advanced Threat Prevention (IPS, Next Generation Anti-malware), all within a unified architecture.

Additionally, since Cato operates on a distributed, cloud-native architecture, all security functions are performed locally at every Point of Presence (PoP). This eliminates the latency introduced by legacy networks that backhauling traffic for security inspection.

Zero Touch SD WAN Devices

The Cato Socket SD WAN device connects physical locations to the nearest Cato PoP via one or more last mile connections. Customers have the flexibility to choose any combination of fibre, cable, xDSL, and 4G/LTE connections. The Socket can also route site-to-site traffic over MPLS and the Internet, addressing regional and application-specific requirements.

capability and reliability

Capacity and Reliability

Cato Sockets empower networks with support for multiple transports in an Active/Active configuration, guaranteeing high availability while effectively mitigating packet loss to achieve optimal network performance.

performance and intelligence

Performance and Intelligence

Cato Sockets deliver a holistic solution by integrating application and identity awareness, dynamic path selection, Quality of Service (QoS) prioritisation, and end-to-end optimisation. This enables the system to adapt to link blackouts and brownouts and employ packet duplication to overcome packet loss.

seamless management

Seamless Management

Cato Sockets streamline the user experience with features like zero-touch provisioning, a single pane of glass management interface, real-time analytics, and BGP dynamic routing. This enables simplified deployment, centralised control, actionable insights, and efficient network routing.

Cloud Readiness

Cato simplifies the process of connecting to cloud service providers, enabling enterprises to integrate cloud data centres with their networks in a cost effective, secure, and optimised manner. This is achieved through integration with major cloud service providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, using secure IPSec tunnels or a Cato vSocket virtual appliance.

Deployment is fast and simple, and connecting a cloud data centre to Cato takes just minutes. All traffic to and from the cloud data centre undergoes full security inspection by Cato’s built-in security stack, SSE 360, and is optimally routed from the edge to the cloud service providers.

Network Optimisation

Cato Networks’ solution enhances network performance through a unique multi-segment optimisation approach. By combining last and middle mile optimisation, traffic is efficiently routed to its destination over a global private backbone, accelerating both WAN and cloud connectivity and maximising end-to-end throughput. This ensures that users can access business-critical resources swiftly, improving productivity and enhancing the end-user experience.
