AMS-IX Hong Kong gains new remote peering options as well as simple and seamless access to Epsilon's Infiny platform

Singapore – 6th December 2018 – Epsilon, a privately-owned global communications Service Provider, has expanded its partnership with AMS-IX to AMS-IX Hong Kong. Epsilon’s partners can remotely peer at AMS-IX’s exchange in Hong Kong on-demand via its Infiny by Epsilon Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform.

On-demand remote peering enables network-centric businesses of all sizes to instantly connect to global Internet Exchanges (IX) and give users an optimised Cloud and Content experience. This partnership enables an organisation to self-register on Infiny and immediately connect to AMS-IX Hong Kong as well as IXs and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) across the globe.

We are simplifying and accelerating how our partners connect globally. Our partnership with AMS-IX creates new value across the value chain and enables more organisations globally to benefit from on-demand remote peering. Our partnership with AMS-IX is very successful in Europe and we look forward to replicating it in Hong Kong. Together, we are giving more network-centric businesses friction-free access to remote peering across the globe.

Jerzy SzlosarekCEO and Co-founder at Epsilon

The AMS-IX Hong Kong’s peering fabric brings a new level of connectivity options to one of the fastest growing internet regions in the world. The AMS-IX’s Hong Kong peering environment houses nearly 50 of the worlds leading ASNs. This generates nearly 40G of peak traffic already and continues to grow at a rapid pace.

We’re pleased to be expanding our partnership with Epsilon and enabling more organisations to benefit from peering in Hong Kong. Internet demand is exploding across Asia and we’re proud to have a dynamic and growing ecosystem in the region.
