Overall Purpose of Job
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and acquiring new accounts to increase revenue in the Regional (APAC) market. This position requires expertise in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on products and services such as Ethernet, Enterprise Connect, Colocation, SD-WAN, Wavelengths, Remote IX peering, Cloud Connectivity, IEPL, IPLC etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative sales strategies to manage accounts and increase revenue streams within these accounts.
- Manage sales opportunities from lead generation to closure either directly or via channel partners.
- Manage sales funnels to ensure there are sufficient opportunities to regularly meet sales targets.
- Use business development skills to identify, qualify, obtain and develop relationships with prospective clients.
- Maintain a solid understanding of current market conditions, technology trends and business to create offers that will boost company margins.
- Drive profitable revenue and growth year over year through recognition and realization of opportunities.
- Provides market analysis and feedback to the management team concerning market direction, customer needs and business opportunities.
Job Requirements
- More than 5 years’ experience in Local/Regional/Sales for Telco/ IT industry and carrier marketplace.
- Understanding up-to-date advanced technology solutions for Carrier, Data Centre Interconnect,
- Enterprise Clouds, SD Wan, Wavelengths, Remote peering, Cloud Connectivity, IEPL, IPLC, Voice solutions.
- Existing relationships with major carriers, MSP in APAC
- Track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- To sell-to or sell thru Epsilon suites of services to these Carriers, customers, or their Enterprise customers in respective countries.
- Understanding and knowledge of social selling, using tools such as LinkedIn and managing workload, outreach, prospecting and pipeline via a key platform such as Salesforce
- Knowledge and experience in managing third party channels to market
