Epsilon has deployed points of presence (PoPs) in Ashburn, Dallas, and Miami to support the growth of its CloudLX, cloud connectivity platform. These three PoPs increase redundancy in the platform and will support an increasing number of US Managed Service Providers (MSPs) using CloudLX.
The PoP locations were selected to give CloudLX a fully redundant network ring across the continent with presence in major network hubs. Epsilon has built out its presence in the US as it has one of the largest markets for MSPs in the world.
US MSPs have a huge opportunity in cloud connectivity and can use CloudLX to simplify the cloud for their enterprise customers. CloudLX gives them a way to capture new sustainable revenue streams from cloud connectivity and drive customer stickiness. MSPs across the US are recognising the potential of CloudLX to have long-term impact on their bottom line.Jerzy SzlosarekCEO at Epsilon
MSPs across the US can adopt CloudLX and can use on-demand Ethernet to connect their enterprise customers to global cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services as well as global internet exchanges. Epsilon has more than 220 PoPs globally and has developed its presence in Dallas and Miami in particular because both hubs act as gateways to South America.
The cloud has really changed what is possible for MSPs and they’re seeing a whole range of new opportunities develop. Cloud models make sense to their customers and there’s a maturation and acceptance of cloud in the US that is driving a lot of new growth for MSPs. That growth is coming from Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, cloud communications and cloud connectivity. It is all positive for US MSPs and they are looking for platforms like CloudLX that make it simple and easy to capture these new opportunities in the cloud.Jerzy SzlosarekCEO at Epsilon
In addition to building its geographic presence, CloudLX has also added Amazon Web Services and the London Internet Exchange to the platform. Uptake is accelerating around the world and Epsilon is developing CloudLX to be a complete platform for friction-free Ethernet connectivity.
