Epsilon and its partners were recognised for innovation around the world at the Global Carrier Awards 2017.
Over the past 13 years, the Global Carrier Awards has become the one of the most prestigious awards event in the carrier community. This year’s event was attended by 400 senior-level executives, celebrating the achievements in regional and international Carrier business over the last 12 months.
With a record number of over 225 entries submitted for this year’s awards, all categories were judged by an independent panel of telecoms analysts, industry experts and the senior editorial team of Capacity Media.
We received awards for the ‘Best Network Technology Innovation’ for our on-demand connectivity platform Infinyby Epsilon and ‘Best Unified Communications Innovation’ for our global SIP offering.
2017 has been an amazing year for our business and it is great to be recognised for our achievements with Infiny and the SIP Trunk Federation. Both awards reflect the effort we have put in to develop new solutions and models to push the market to new places.
Over the last 12 months, our developers, engineers, sales and marketing teams have worked really hard to make our solutions a reality and bring them to our partners around the world. The effort has been rewarded and we’re ready for another big year in 2018.
We’d like to congratulate our partner datamena. They won ‘Best Data Centre Innovation’ and ‘Best Middle Eastern Project’ for the delivery of on-demand connectivity via the Infiny by Epsilon platform. It’s great to see our partner creating new momentum with on-demand connectivity in the Middle East.
We’d also like to congratulate our partner Aqua Comms for receiving recognition for its Subsea Project. Our friends at Linxa also picked up ‘Best Voice Service Innovation’ – Mature Market and DE-CIX won the award for ‘Best Internet Exchange’.
The awards were a big success for our team but also our partners.
We believe in the value of strong partnerships and are extremely pleased to see our partners recognised for innovation in voice, data and infrastructure. It shows that we are working with the right people and together, we will be able to transform our industry.
Finally, I would also like to congratulate IDT Telecom for winning the award for Best Marketing Team, a category we were shortlisted for. Although we didn’t bag the award this year, it was certainly was given to a well-deserved team. There is always next year!
