At Epsilon, we are continuing to expand our presence in Internet Exchanges (IXs) across the globe. Our goal is to make accessing peering points fast, efficient, and seamless.
We’ve partnered with London Access Point (LONAP), one of the leading Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) in London, to give our partners increased choice for peering in the UK. Our Partners can connect directly to LONAP’s Internet Exchange Point from our Infiny by Epsilon on-demand connectivity platform.
LONAP was first established in 1997 as a ‘not for profit’ IXP in London. Its growing membership includes Internet Service Providers, Network Operators and Content Providers with their own data networks. LONAP members exchange traffic using a network of interconnected switches hosted in its data centres across the City of London and the Docklands. All eight LONAP data centres are connected by a fast switch fabric using a high-capacity fibre network.
Our partners benefit from LONAP’s commitment to performance and quality for internet services, Cloud-based applications and VoIP. Through LONAP’s IXP our partners can directly connect their customers to leading Cloud Service Providers including FTSE100 and NYSE companies.
Our partnership with LONAP gives Service Providers access to new peering partners at a key hub in London and enables them to remotely peer from anywhere in the world at the click-of-a-button. LONAP joins more than 600 Service Providers, Internet Exchanges and Cloud Service Providers as part of our Global Interconnect Fabric.
We are actively growing the number of IXs available on our Infiny by Epsilon platform and supporting the growth of peering globally. Service Providers can use Infiny by Epsilon to connect to IXs globally from a single platform with guaranteed Quality of Service and Experience.
