DWS saw an opportunity to serve more of its customers’ demands for bespoke voice solutions with a global backbone network. It wanted to deliver its routing and voice solutions with greater efficiency, performance, quality of service and quality of experience.

THEIR CHALLENGE

Building an Extensive Networking Solution to Meet Rising Demands

DWS was seeing demand rising for two-way voice, particularly for conferencing services. It needed a robust, global network that could support local access numbers and serve customer demands for integrated numbers for platforms, such as Microsoft Teams.

As a wholesale service provider, DWS did not have the infrastructure in place to build an extensive networking solution, knowing this would be costly and complex for the business to achieve. It understands the need to adapt quickly to the fast-moving landscape and prefers working with someone with experience in delivering timely network and voice services.

THEIR SOLUTION

A Combination of Network and Voice Services

DWS utilises Epsilon’s global network to deploy a mix of network and voice services to serve their customers and partners in multiple markets. Through its 1Gb port in Slough, UK, Epsilon enables DWS to interconnect 100 Mbps to Frankfurt with last mile access to Sweden. DWS also partitions some of Epsilon’s session border controllers (SBC), which through its SIP Trunking, provides access to global numbers as well as facilitating outbound calling services.

DWS is able to move quickly to serve new business requirements, such as helping one of its largest customers set up a new office in Sweden, with seamless connectivity into the DWS network via Epsilon.

On top of this, partnering with Epsilon enabled DWS to secure one of its biggest wins in the last 18 months. It was able to win a contract with a large corporate customer based on a customised solution using Epsilon’s network. DWS can enable outbound calls and supply all inbound numbers for its customer’s global call centres across the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific. It can ensure that all calls show local numbers, and are routed to the right agent in the right native language.

Epsilon’s Global Inbound Services gives DWS a presence in multiple local markets with rapid access to global numbering. If needed, it can easily access millions of local, national, mobile and toll-free numbers through a single interconnect. Epsilon’s global voice solutions are delivered over its SIP platform and global network infrastructure, with comprehensive coverage in over 100 countries. DWS can decide between the caller paying for the calls, sharing the call cost or providing free calls using Epsilon’s numbers.

Epsilon’s Outbound Call Termination offers simple access for worldwide calling enhanced with the ability to support local dialling in many countries. Epsilon has removed manual procedures and fully automated the process of procuring numbers to give partners an exceptional customer experience.
